Due to Aus Floats inherent design flexibility the uses are many and varied and some examples follow. These are a few of the many applications that modular systems have already been used for throughout Australia, the Pacific and Asian regions:
- Boat ramp pontoons for the safe launch and retrieval of boats.
- Swimming enclosures.
- Floating walkways.
- Standard pontoons for shallow areas.
- Pontoons and walkways in exposed areas where it may be required to dismantle or remove the structure in extreme weather conditions (cyclone prone areas).
- Aquaculture farms and cages.
- Mining, dredging operations
- Pontoons for hose supports in mining and dredging.
- Resort watersports, snorkeling and diving pontoons.
- Motorised and floating work platforms.
- Lakes, dams and rivers.
- Marinas.
- Floating walkways across sandy and muddy beaches.
- Floating Heli Pads.

Accessories and Attachments
 |
Varying polyethylene accessories and further float modules are currently in concept design as additional products to this range. These will be brought on stream as part of our long term business plan according to market demand.
Aluminium, stainless steel and galvanised steel accessories are designed and fabricated at our Caloundra factory for shipment and installation according to our clients' needs.
Accessories including aluminium walkways, pile brackets - both sliding and roller type, fender bars, cast aluminium cleats, walers, hand rails all can be designed and fabricated to suit Aus Float.
Consistent with our focus to provide top quality products our preference for accessories within the "splash zone" will be toward stainless steel. We recognise this may not always be price competitive and therefore will be happy to quote alternatives if desired. |
